Canada Post is being overhauled to become self-sufficient, more efficient, innovative and responsive to Canadians.
Ottawa wants Canada Post to better utilize the infrastructure and assets it has in every corner of the country.

“This is at the core of our vision as well that Canada Post will provide high quality service at a reasonable price to Canadians, no matter where they live.”
LeBlanc says enhancing mail delivery to those with disabilities, promoting money transfer services and reinvesting profits to become more innovative are all part of the “service first” vision.
He believes new leadership will also help build relationships with communities, employees, unions and other stakeholders.
