Credit Unions across Atlantic Canada got together to conduct an experiment recently to try and prove that honesty, trust and having values are alive and well in this part of the country…
They placed 12 lost wallets in public spaces across the four provinces, that included receipts, bus tickets, a debit card, around $100 dollars cash and a contact number.
Their hope was that the wallets would find their way back home.
Of the twelve lost wallets, nine of them made it back to their rightful Owner, with the cash still insde.
Director of Brand Marketing for Atlantic Central, who represents the region’s 47 independent credit unions, Jennifer Murray says the results confirmed what they already knew about Atlantic Canadians, That honesty, trust and fairness are a part of who we are as a region..
“We wanted to create a video that boldly demonstrates what we believe in,” Murray says
