The latest Nanos research poll shows the Liberals under Justin Trudeau continue to be quite popular.
The Liberals have 40.9 per cent support, followed by the Conservatives at 30.7 per cent, the NDP at 19.5 per cent, the Greens at 4.8 per cent and the Bloc Quebecois at 3.7 per cent.
When asked who they thought was the best leader to be Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau had 45.6 per cent, followed by the Conservatives’ Andrew Scheer at 20.3 per cent, the NDP’s Jagmeet Singh at nine per cent, and the Green’s Elizabeth May at 4.1 per cent.
About 21 per cent said they were unsure which leader they preferred.
The results are based on a random telephone survey of 1,000 Canadians and is accurate to within +/- 3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
