First Babies Of 2018 Arrive In Moncton

The first babies of 2018 have arrived in Moncton but it didn’t happen on New Year’s Day.

Horizon Health says the first baby at the Moncton Hospital was a boy named Reed who weighed 8 pounds and 1 ounce.

Reed was born on Tuesday, January 2nd at 8:35am to Renee and Ryan Dorey.

Later in the day, Vitalite Health says the first baby at the Georges Dumont Hospital was a girl who arrived at 4:57pm.

Weighing 7 pounds and 15 ounces, Kelsea is the daughter of Guylaine Duguay and Terry Steeves.
