Christmas food boxes will be delivered today, and that takes hundreds of volunteers.
As of yesterday afternoon, Food Depot Alimentaire had raised enough money to fill 1400 of the 1800 boxes.
If you’d like to help make a delivery, you’re asked to line up at the Moncton Coliseum between 11:30am and noon today. Drivers are required until around 3:30 to do the deliveries.
Each box costs around $80 to fill, with most of that money coming from events during the 30 Days of Caring.
The Anglophone East School District Fill the Bus campaign was a huge success this year. They collected over 27, 000 pounds of food, which has a value of over $67, 000.
