Pay Equity Now is a campaign launched in New Brunswick by the Pay Equity Coalition who says women in this province have waited long enough for mechanisms ensuring equal pay for all to be put in place.
Provincial Green Party leader David Coon agrees, saying it was a pledge made by the Liberals before the last provincial election in 2014 but no legislation has been forthcoming.
The Coalition says discussions with provincial candidates and political parties will be at the heart of this action.
