NB Power is reporting its earnings amounted to $116 million for the first six months of the 2017-18 fiscal year. During that same period, it reduced its debt by $17 million.
NB Power also claims residential customers have saved more than $1.27 million by making small changes in their energy habits since the Home Energy Report program was launched in January of this year. According to the utility, enough electricity has been saved to power about 700 homes for a year.
