Shopping online continues to show strong growth year-over-year according to Moneris, Canada’s leading payment transaction processor.
Spokesperson Malcolm Fowler says Cyber Monday continues to gain popularity with shoppers seeking bargains on the heels of Black Friday.
“It’s something that retailers also need to be aware of… is their e-commerce presence… and whether or not they are ready for that important channel as well,” he notes.
Fowler adds online shopping is growing much faster than traditional shopping in physical bricks-and-mortar stores.
