Public Prosecution Services will not appeal a court decision involving two Bathurst police officers.
Criminal charges were laid against Bathurst police constables Matthieu Boudreau and Patrick Bulger for manslaughter in the death of Michel Vienneau in January of 2015.
A judge determined at a preliminary hearing there wasn’t enough evidence to proceed to trial. That decision was upheld on appeal in the Court of Queen’s Bench.
