According to a poll done by Ipsos for Historica Canada, millennials have more of an interest in commemorating Remembrance Day than previous generations.
Author Robyn Tingley has studied millennials, talking to them and writing about them. She predicts you’re going to see more progressive policies as millennials make up the majority of the work force.
Despite headlines that say millennials will be switching careers and jobs often, Tingley says 60 to 70 per cent of the millennials she talks to would be willing to remain with one employer for a long time if they derive fulfillment and purpose from their jobs.
According to the poll, 37 percent of millennials will be attending a Remembrance Day ceremony this coming Saturday as opposed to 29 percent of baby boomers.
