Thousands of runners descended on Moncton this weekend for the IGT Legs for Literacy marathon.
Since 2000, the annual fundraiser has been supporting local literacy projects, with more than $674,000 raised to date.
The race is considered to be the biggest running event in the province, with runners choosing to participate in a 5k, 10k, half marathon and full marathon.
It is also an official qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
