Management at the Dumont Hospital have lifted some of the restrictions for visitors to the fourth floor.
Visits are once again permitted on 4-D, the Oncology Unit.
However, 4-A which houses the General Surgery, Urology and Gynecology Units remains closed to visitors.
Dumont officials say the stomach flu (gastroenteritis) is still making the rounds among some patients.
Anyone who is feeling ill should stay away from visiting until at least two days after any symptoms disappear.
