Visits have been temporarily suspended on the 4th floor of the Dumont Hospital.
According to management, several patients have come down with gastroenteritis, commonly referred to as stomach flu.
The suspension will remain in effect until further notice and only applies to the 4th floor of the Dumont – the General Surgery, Urology and Gynecology Units.
Anyone who is ill is urged to avoid visiting patients until at least 48 hours after their symptoms have disappeared.
