Many people celebrated the life of inspirational Riverview teen Becca Schofield yesterday during the first annual Becca Told Me To Day in the province.
Her Facebook group was filled with posts all day about acts of kindness both large and small in her honour, and a full day of musical celebration was hosted at the Riverview Arts Centre.
Those acts ranged from 750 handmade finger puppets being donated to a hospital in Halifax, to people delivering baked goods and treats to their neighbours, and even strangers.
Premier Brian Gallant attended the event with Becca, saying he was truly honoured to participate in celebrating an amazing individual who has shown us that all acts of kindness make a difference.

Becca, who is battling terminal brain cancer, was honoured with a Canada 150 pin on Friday by Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe MP Ginette Petitpas Taylor.
