Human Remains Identified As Missing Victoria County Man

RCMP say human remains found in the St. John River have been identified as a missing 42-year-old Victoria County man.

Almost two weeks ago, police say a body was found in the river near Tobique Narrows.

Further investigation and an autopsy showed the remains were those of Tony Vaillancourt from Morrell Siding who had not been in touch with friends or family since April.
