Moncton-based Heritage Developments is seeking tenants for the old Moncton High School as it turns the building into a mixed use commercial and cultural centre.
The province recently announced the old school is being sold to the company for one million dollars.
Ross Carpenter with Heritage Developments says the short-term focus is to secure and protect the property.
“There’s nothing I can disclose at this time because of disclosure agreements. We are working towards getting the building filled up,” he says.
The company will also be working with the MH Renaissance group to repurpose the school’s auditorium and gymnasium for cultural uses.
