Large Truck Hits Moncton’s Subway Overpass

It happens a few times a year… and it happened again today.

Despite warning signs about height restrictions, a large truck got stuck after hitting the Subway overpass on Main Street early this afternoon.

Emergency responders arrived on scene but no one was hurt and the Ryder rental truck was towed away.

Codiac RCMP say the truck driver has been charged with disobeying a traffic sign under the Motor Vehicle Act which carries a fine of $172.50.
