A 33-year-old Moncton man is dead following a collision between a transport truck and a food truck in Neguac.
RCMP say a food truck collided with the rear of a transport truck on rue Principale yesterday afternoon.
A passenger in the food truck died at the scene, while the driver was transported to hospital in Tracadie.
An update on the Bangkok Food Truck Facebook page, confirms that it was their truck involved.
In a message from Randy and May, they say, “Sadly, the passenger, the newest member of our team, did not survive the collision. The driver has sustained major injuries and is recovering in the hospital. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the family and staff members involved in this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this incredibly difficult time. We are all very close and the entire staff are deeply saddened by this event. Due to the circumstances, both Food Trucks will be closed. The truck will reopen on July 1st. The restaurant in Shediac will remain open. We would like to thank everyone for the support and messages we’ve received during this difficult time. Our prayers are with them.”
