Fredericton has been chosen to host the province’s official New Brunswick Day celebration this year on August 6.
The holiday has been celebrated every year since 1976 and an official host community has been chosen since 1990.
As was the case during Canada 150 last year, five other communities will host regional celebrations between July 7 and August 15.
