Now that school is out, you may be looking for a place where your child can stay active.
The City of Moncton and the YMCA of Greater Moncton are teaming up for the third year of Mobile Fun playgrounds.
VP of Programs and Community Initiatives Dave Theriault say the program is offered from July 2nd until August 24th.
“In the past couple of years, we’ve seen an increase in the number of people participating. Last year we were over 4000 and we’re hoping to see the same number of people this year.”
The program is open to children of all ages.

“It’s inclusive, everyone is welcome. We’ve noticed that there has been a lot of parents and grandparent involvement and we are hoping to build on the again,” Theriault says.
Twenty-seven playgrounds in the city have been chosen for this year.
“There are quite a few municipal parks in the city, and unfortunately we can’t go to all of them, but we will hit a number of them this year,” Theriault says.
