A 56-year-old Kent County man has been charged in connection with the hit and run death of 22-year-old Brady Francis of Elispogtog First Nation earlier this year.
RCMP say Maurice Johnson of Saint-Charles has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving bodily harm or death.
During the night of February 24th, Mounties responded to a hit and run on Saint-Charles South Road where the body of Brady Francis was found on the side of the road.
Police believe he was waiting for a drive home when he was struck by a vehicle.
Maurice Johnson is scheduled to appear in Moncton court on July 10th to enter a plea.
