Spaces Still Available For Magnetic Hill Zoo Camps

Classes have ended for the summer for high school students and just one week to go for the elementary and middle schools.

Have you decided what your son or daughter will be doing for the summer?

Camps are filling up in Greater Moncton, but Camp Director for Magnetic Hill Zoo Camps Cathy Simon says it’s unusual they aren’t full yet.

“We do have openings for next week for the first week of the summer, and then things really fill up fast after that. For next week, we do have room for the 5 to 7 year olds in English and then for the 8 to 10 year olds in English and French. We have a great combination of fun of learning about animals and wildlife and we have programs “

Simon says they also offer a Keeper camp for youth between 14 and 17 years old, which offers a view in the life of a Zookeeper.
“I would say that it is a lot of kids who are considering it as a career in the future or they are exploring their options and this is a great way to get their feet wet and see if it is really for them We also do get a range of some who just think it is a neat thing to do for the summer,” Simon says.
