Man Arrested In Moncton Armed Robbery

A 32-year-old man has been arrested after an armed robbery at the Needs convenience store at the corner of Morton Avenue and McLaughlin Drive in Moncton.

Around 5 o’clock Wednesday morning, Codiac RCMP found the man a short distance from the store as he tried to flee in a vehicle.

Police seized a weapon believed to be used in the robbery and also recovered stolen items.

No one was hurt.

The man made his first court appearance today to face changes in the incident.
