A new Deputy Mayor has been named to Moncton City Council.
Councillor Greg Turner has been elected to take over the role from Councillor Charles Leger.
Turner will serve in the role for the next 12 months.
Turner posted to Facebook last night that he is honoured and humbled to be unanimously chosen.
