Two Charged In Drug Trafficking Investigation

RCMP have arrested two people following an eight-month drug trafficking investigation in Southeast New Brunswick.

Mounties obtained a warrant and searched a home on Route 950 in Petit-Cap where officers seized a large quantity of drugs including meth and cocaine along with cash, a prohibited knife and other items used in drug trafficking.

Both from Petit-Cap, 32-year-old Mario Clement Leblanc and 41-year-old Sally Cormier, have been charged with:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Cannabis Resin, Cannabis Marijuana, Hydromorphone and Oxycodone (6 counts)
Possession of Items Used to Facilitate Drug Trafficking
Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
Possession of a Weapon While Prohibited

The pair are being held in custody and have upcoming court appearances on May 10th and May 15th in Moncton Provincial Court.
