Another non profit organization will benefit tonight, thanks to 100 Women Who Care of Greater Moncton.
Co-Chair Tammy Rampersaud says three more groups will present with the hopes of being chosen to receive a donation, “We try to meet four times throughout the year and try to make it once per quarter. At each meeting, we have three registered charities come in and present to us. Each woman that attends donates $100 and each will get a tax receipt. This week, the three groups that will present are Moncton Headstart, Dieppe Boys and Girls Club and Atlantic Wellness Centre.”
The Greater Moncton SPCA received a cheque for $6000 at the last meeting three months ago. Other groups to receive cheques include Hospice, Youth Impact and Blessings In a Backpack.
Tonight’s meeting will be held at 5:45, at Chateau Moncton, and Rampersaud says they are always looking for new members.
