Mounties in western New Brunswick say a 22-year-old man wanted on an arrest warrant is now behind bars.
Edward John Hayes of Benton, near Woodstock, is charged with assault causing bodily harm and violating a judge’s undertaking.
Police say they received a tip from the public on Friday morning that a man wanted by Woodstock police was in the Canterbury area.

Officers spotted him on an all-terrain vehicle in a rural area and started chasing him.
He later ditched the ATV and was arrested in the Benton area after a short foot chase.
