Playoffs are underway for the Moncton Wildcats, with the series tied at 1 a piece, as they take on the Rimouski Oceanic. Game three returns to the Moncton Coliseum on Tuesday night.
Wildcats spokesperson Courtney Huestis says fans are enjoying their time left in the old building. Work is officially underway to get things moved over to the downtown events centre, “They’re just into the construction process right now. The store and offices will be moved over. Once we have all of the final info, we’ll send that out to our season ticketholders and fans, so everyone will know where to find us.”
There will once again be a box office for tickets on site at the new centre, “So once we have all of the ticketing information and the office set up, we’ll let everyone know how they can purchase individual tickets. For season ticket holders we are starting the process of moving them over to the new building shortly,” Huestis says.
Ideally they would like to have a few preseason games in the new centre, but Huestis says that will depend on scheduling and coordinating with the building.
