Man Dies In Colpitts Settlement Fire

Southeast RCMP say a house fire in Colpitts Settlement has left one man dead.

Police say the fire was reported around 2:30 this morning.

The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters from Salisbury, Petitcodiac and Havelock arrived.

The body of a 59-year-old man from Colpitts Settlement was found inside.

Mounties and the Fire Marshal are investigating but the fire and death are not considered suspicious at this time.
