Tributes are continuing to pour in in the wake of the passing of inspirational Riverview teen Becca Schofield.
The 18-year old died after a three year battle with cancer this weekend, however, her #BeccaToldMeTo movement, encouraging people to perform random acts of kindness lives on.
Riverview Mayor, Ann Seamans, says Becca proved one person, through simple actions, can make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Seamans continues, saying the global reach of Becca’s movement reminded us that being kind is a choice we make each and every day.
The flags at Riverview Town Hall are being flown at half mast today as a mark of respect for the memory of Riverview resident Rebecca Schofield. As all Angels do, she has definitely earned her wings to fly. Godspeed Becca!#BECCATOLDMETO pic.twitter.com/tp1EfS0710

Becca was born to lead and destined to teach by example. She lived life to the fullest and faced death with honesty and tremendous courage. Rest in peace, Becca. #BeccaToldMeTo
