Tributes Continue To Pour In For Becca Schofield

Tributes are continuing to pour in in the wake of the passing of inspirational Riverview teen Becca Schofield.

The 18-year old died after a three year battle with cancer this weekend, however, her #BeccaToldMeTo movement, encouraging people to perform random acts of kindness lives on.

Riverview Mayor, Ann Seamans, says Becca proved one person, through simple actions, can make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Seamans continues, saying the global reach of Becca’s movement reminded us that being kind is a choice we make each and every day.

She concluded by encouraging everyone to honour Becca’s legacy by continuing to make the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time.

Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe MP Ginette Petitpas-Taylor says Becca was born to lead, and destined to teach by example.

Meanwhile, Riverview MLA Bruce Fitch added each September, when New Brunswickers celebrate Becca Schofield Day, we will all be reminded of a wonderful soul who faced the end of her life while encouraging others to find the best within themselves.
