It was a big night for Moncton musician Zack Lane, with an appearance on the TV show, “The Launch.”
He was one of five artists, working to make an impression on mentors Julia Michaels, Scott Borchettta and ian Kirkpatrick, hoping to be chosen to release an original song.
Following an exhilarating audition process before the celebrity mentors, aspiring artists Jayd Ink and Zack Lane emerged as the two breakthrough artists chosen to perform and make the original song “Codes” their own.
After a collaborative 48 hours in studio rehearsals, recordings, and working with the episode’s celebrity mentors, the final artists took the stage in front of a live studio audience to perform their interpretations of “Codes.”
In the end, Lane was not chosen to release the original song, “Codes”, but according a post on Twitter last night, this is just the beginning for Zack Lane.
He also posted to his Instagram account last night, “To everyone that has been supporting me through messages, likes, shares, etc. thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart.”
“This is a win and I cant wait to see what the future holds,” Lane says.
