Snowfall Totals From Friday’s Storm

The snow has ended and now the clean up begins following Friday’s wintry weather.

Environment Canada says eastern communities saw the most snow, with 28 centimetres falling in Kouchibouguac National Park and 22 centimetres in Bouctouche.

Moncton and Woodstock both saw about 17 centimetres while the Fredericton area is cleaning up from about 13 centimetres.

About eight centimetres fell in Saint John and Sussex, Grand Manan reported 11 centimetres, and St. Stephen saw about 12 centimetres.

You can find the full list of snowfall totals from Environment Canada at the bottom of the story.

Dozens of collisions

Friday’s snowfall kept emergency crews busy dealing with dozens of collisions.

No serious injuries have been reported.

If you have to be on the roads on Saturday, give yourself a bit of extra time to get to your destination.

Many major routes throughout New Brunswick are still partly or fully-snow covered, with some still reporting slushy patches.
