Thousands of students across the province are taking the day off school today to experience a day in the work world with their mom, dad, friend or relative.
It is Take Your Kids To Work day.

It is an initiative that was launched in 1994…Across Canada, around 200 thousand grade 9 students take part.
The event gives students a chance to explore career options and pursue their interests.
