Dennis Oland will stand trial again starting Tuesday for second degree murder in the 2011 death of his father Richard Oland. In Advance of the trial, members of his family released a message of support Monday.
The statement through the family’s lawyer says the family continues to show “steadfast support for Dennis.”
It goes on to say the Oland family has endured an unimaginable ordeal since the death of Richard Oland in 2011
before thanking friends and strangers, adding they “cannot adequately express how much the continuing support means to them.”
The statement is signed by Connie Oland, Lisa Andrik Oland, Derek and Jacqueline Oland and family.
The new trial begins Tuesday morning at the Saint John Law Courts building.
