A 21-year old man from Halifax is facing one charge of obstruction in connection with an incident at the Woodstock-Houlton border last Friday.
Around 10:15 that morning, provincial RCMP members were called to a suspicious vehicle stopped between the two ports of entry.
The two men inside refused to communicate with police, or members of the Canada Border Services Agency.
After six hours, the two men were arrested by US Customs and Border Protection officers after they drove their vehicle towards the American border.
On Sunday, Bailey Roy was returned to Canada, where he will remain in custody until his next court appearance November 1st.
Another person, a 22-year old man from Middle Sackville, Nova Scotia, is still in jail in the United States.
The investigation is continuing.
