A familiar face has thrown his hat into the ring, in the hopes of becoming the Moncton City Councillor for Ward 3, again.
Brian Hicks posted on Facebook this week that his nomination papers have been signed for the upcoming by-election on December 10th
He also states that with Ward 3 being the fastest growing ward in the city, he feels there are still problems that have to be solved..
Hicks served as a Ward 3 City Councillor for over 16 years after he was first elected in 1999. That ended in 2016, when he decided to run for Mayor and was defeated by Dawn Arnold..
The seat in Ward 3 was recently left vacant after the election of Rob McKee as the newest Liberal MLA for Moncton Centre.
