Three Arrested, One Charged After Drugs, Weapon Seized In Lower Coverdale Search

Three people have been arrested, and one has been charged after Codiac RCMP officers searched a Lower Coverdale home.

Officers searched a home on Route 114 on October 12th, just after 1 in the afternoon.

Police seized an undisclosed amount of cannabis, and what is believed to be cocaine, methamphetamine and hydromorphone.

They also discovered a firearm and stolen property.

A 20-year old Sackville woman and a 33-year old Saint John man were arrested at the scene but later released on a promise to appear in court January 21st.

A 47-year old Moncton man, also arrested, had a court appearance October 16th.

Michael Hayes is facing eight charges, three counts of drug trafficking; two counts of posession of stolen property over $5,000; one count of possession of stolen property under $5,000; one count of possession of cannabis; one count of unsafe storage of a firearm.

His next court appearance is November 20th.
