Dieppe Man Arrested In Connection With Attempted Robbery In Ontario

A Dieppe man is facing charges in connection with an attempted robbery in Northern Ontario.

Police say 31-year-old John Wayne Horsman faces charges of Robbery with a Weapon and Wearing a Disguise under the Criminal Code.

He is currently in custody in Ontario, awaiting a bail hearing.

Police say a man wearing a disguise and carrying a knife entered a Bank of Montreal in Dryden, Ontario on Monday afternoon.

He demanded money, but fled the bank empty handed.

Horsman was arrested later that night.
