Nor’easter Sets Sights On New Brunswick

Old Man Winter is expected to make another appearance in New Brunswick later this week.

Environment Canada is monitoring a low pressure system which is expected to become a nasty Nor’easter.

Meteorologist Claude Cote says the storm will begin brewing off the U.S. East Coast on Wednesday.

“Thursday… I would say fairly early in the morning, we’re looking at periods of wet snow. And we could be looking at 15 to 20 cm of snow,” he notes.

As the temperature climbs above freezing later on Thursday, Cote adds a changeover to rain is likely by evening along with strong winds.
