Premier Brian Gallant is in Ottawa this week for a series of meetings with federal cabinet ministers.
The economy is expected to be the focus during these meetings, which begin later today and continue tomorrow.
Gallant will meet with Health Minister Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Canadian Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly, Finance Minister Bill Morneau, Families, Children and Social Development Minister Jean-Yves Duclos, Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr, and Status of Women Minister Maryam Monsef.
The premier says in a statement the meetings are a chance to find ways the province can work with the federal government to spur economic growth.
