NB Doctors Cycling Against Cancer Leave On Five Day Journey

The third annual N.B. Doctors Cycling Against Cancer event is officially underway.

The physician-led team of eleven cyclists left on their five-day cycle this morning.

They’ll make several stops over the next five days including at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton and at the Miramichi Hospital.

Their goal this year is to raise $55,000 dollars.

The money will be used to enhance patient care at the Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic.

Donations can be made online at www.friendsfoundation.ca/donate , by mail to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation (135 MacBeath Ave., Moncton, NB, E1C 6Z8), in person at the Friend’s Kiosk located in the main lobby at TMH, or by calling 506-857-5488.
