This is Pride Month across the country and although Moncton’s River of Pride Festival is not taking place until late August, preparations for the event are well underway.
River of Pride media coordinator Charles MacDougall says the annual event has been growing rapidly in recent years and the festival continues to grow.
“We are presenting about 20 public events from August 19th to 26th. We just released registration forms for the Pride parade and the Pride park fair which happens right after the parade on the afternoon of August 26th,” he notes.
MacDougall says the River of Pride committee is in the process of launching a new website which should go live in a couple of weeks.
