$225,000 Worth Of Marijuana Products Seized Following Raids By Saint John Police

Saint John police have released more information surrounding raids on several medical marijuana dispensaries in the city.

Police seized $25,000 in cash and roughly $225,000 worth of assorted marijuana products.

12 people were charged with possession with the purpose of trafficking after six medical marijuana dispensaries were raided late last month.

In a statement Police Chief John Bates says the search warrants should not come as a surprise to anyone because the dispensaries were operating outside of the law.

The locations included Medical Grounds on Prince William and Rothesay Avenue, BLW on Simpson Drive, King Canna on Germain and HBB Medical on Rothesay Road and Chesley Drive.
