U.S. President Donald Trump took a potshot at Arnold Schwarzenegger when speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington.
He joked about perhaps praying for Arnold since the ratings for the reality TV show “The Apprentice” have been a disaster since he took over as host. Trump hosted “The Apprentice” and “Celebrity Apprentice” for 14 seasons until he launched his presidential campaign in mid 2015.
Trump did get serious later on when speaking about the difference between material wealth and being spiritual, saying he knows people who have great material wealth but are miserable and unhappy.
He also heaped praise on the military in the wake of a Navy Seal dyring last weekend during a raid in Yemen. Trump talked movingly about attending the solemn ceremony when his body was returned to the U.S.
Schwarzenegger, meantime, responded to Trump’s barb by suggesting they switch jobs. He had tweeted criticism of the temporary travel ban ordered by Trump, saying it made America look stupid.
