A Moncton woman is turning to the public with the hopes of finding a necklace that is very important to her son.
Trish Petrie’s husband Andrew, passed away in July last year, and some of his ashes were put into three crosses that were made for her and her two sons Alex and Brady. They all wear them with a chain around their neck, to keep Andrew close to the at all times.
Her son went to play hockey last Tuesday, January 24 and that’s when the chain and cross were lost, “The necklace is a silver chain with a sideways cross. He was playing hockey at the Superior Propane centre last Tuesday in rink A, changeroom 2, and he had hung it on a hook under his clothes. It could have flung off the hook, it could have landed in someone’s bag, or it could have been left behind, and got caught on someone else’s clothes. Or someone may have picked it up.”
She would like to see it returned, because it can never be replaced, “There will be no questions asked, as long as we can get it back and he can out it back around his neck. It is very important to him.”
Anyone with information can contact Trish on her cell phone at 227-3764, or drop the necklace off at the Superior Propane Centre.
