Moncton’s mayor believes the city will see tremendous growth in 2017.
Dawn Arnold says construction of the downtown centre is just the tip of the iceberg.
Arnold notes many other projects are on council’s agenda for the year.
“The north end recreation centre of course, the old Moncton High School and finding a solution for it, and there is also the possibility of some progress on a new RCMP building,” she notes.
Arnold adds the city wants to continue attracting great talent and that includes filling the top administrative role.
A search for a city manager is ongoing following the departure of Jacques Dube last summer.
