Codiac RCMP are currently investigating a shooting incident overnight.
Sergeant Andre Pepin says responded to the call just before 4am this morning outside a home on Cameron Street.
A 46 year old man was taken to hospital suffering from non life threatening injuries, and Sergeant Pepin says he is expected to undergo surgery.
Officers are still in the Cameron Street area looking for clues, and searching for a suspect..
