Sue Stultz And Moncton Firefighters Association Turkey Drive To Kick Off Today

It’s turkey time.

An annual tradition in Southeastern New Brunswick will officially kickoff this morning.

It’s the Sue Stultz and Moncton Firefighters Association Turkey Drive.

Christopher Jackson is a firefighters and spokesperson for the annual event, “We’re going to be kicking off at Bessborough School, and at that point in time we will announce the big number as to what this year’s goal is, as to how many turkeys we will need in order to serve the community and feed everyone who needs these turkeys over the holiday season.”

He says Sue Stultz has always been the main driver behind this event, “When I talk to Sue, she always puts the emphasis on getting food to the people who need it. That is what it alls comes down to each and every year. She is excited as usual about the turkey drive and is the person who built the foundation behind the drive, and came up with the idea. The firefighters just partnered with her.”

The turkey drive has been a common fixture for almost 20 years. Sue Stultz, always wants to ensure that every family table in Southeastern New Brunswick had a turkey on their table at Christmas time..
