A Prince Edward Island school bus driver has been charged in connection with sexting with a minor.

Queens District RCMP say 31-year-old Stephen William MacLeod is facing criminal charges of luring a child and invitation to sexual touching.

Police say the victim is a 15-year-old girl.

Sexting is described as the exchange of sexually explicit photos, images, text messages, or e-mails using a cell phone or other mobile device.

The accused has since been suspended as a school bus driver.
