Salvation Army Kettle Campaign Up And Running Again This Year

It’s a common fixture in malls and other stores during the Christmas season.

The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign is underway across the region.

Community Resource and Development Officer Dean Pritchett says they`re looking for your donations, whether it be the loose change in your pocket, or something more substantial and it is used for programs here in this region.

“They all stay in Moncton, I’ll say that first and foremost, a lot of them go to cover off our Christmas campaign,” says Pritchett. “The rest goes to fund our family services which runs about 12 to 15 programs throughout the entire year.”

The local Salvation Army is also in need of another vehicle to help with pickups around town during the Christmas season…
